Returns Policy

At Electric Avenue Tech (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to be confident in your purchase. This Returns Policy explains how returns are handled for orders placed on electricavenuetech.com (the “Site”), including for faulty and non-faulty items.

1. Return Window

You must request a return within 7 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier. Requests submitted after this 7-day window will not be accepted, except where required by applicable law.

2. Faulty Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or develops a fault covered under this Policy, you may request a return for a full refund or replacement, subject to the following:

  • The return request must be submitted within the 7-day return window.
  • We may ask for photos or a description of the fault to assess the claim before issuing a return label.
  • Once a fault is confirmed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, an eligible refund will be issued in the form of store credit (see Section 4).

If our inspection finds that the item is not faulty, it will instead be treated as a non-faulty return and the terms in Section 3 will apply, including the restocking fee.

3. Non-Faulty Returns

If you wish to return an item that is not faulty (for example, you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item), the following terms apply:

  • Return Window: the request must be made within 7 days of delivery.
  • Condition: the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all accessories, manuals, and components originally included.
  • Restocking Fee: a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount for any item returned that is found, upon inspection, not to be faulty.
  • Return Shipping: you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Items found to be faulty upon inspection will not be subject to the restocking fee and will instead be handled under Section 2.

4. Refund Method

All approved refunds, whether for faulty or non-faulty returns, are issued as store credit to be used on a future purchase at electricavenuetech.com. We do not offer refunds to the original payment method or cash refunds, except where required by applicable law.

Store credit will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected, and will reflect the order total minus any applicable restocking fee under Section 3.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned, unless faulty:

  • Items marked as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase;
  • Gift cards;
  • Items that have been used, installed, or damaged after delivery through misuse or accident;
  • Items returned without their original packaging, accessories, or components.

6. How to Request a Return

To request a return, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the reason for return (including photos for faulty items, where applicable). We will review your request and provide instructions, including a prepaid return label if the item is confirmed or believed to be faulty.

7. Inspection and Processing Time

Once we receive a returned item, please allow a reasonable period for inspection and processing. We will notify you by email of the outcome of the inspection and the amount of store credit issued, if applicable.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law, which cannot be excluded or limited by this Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Returns Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The version of this Policy in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order.
